Shambhala Music FestivalHarmony

I had a blast working with the stellar team at Sweetgrass Productions to capture Shambhala Music Festival‘s 20th spin round the sun. As a Nelson-native, I’ve been attending Shambhala since I was 14, so it was an extra special treat to return this year on the Shambhala Films crew. This production was an epic feat of organization and creative bravado by Nick Waggoner and the rest of the Sweetgrass fam, with an around the clock team of videographers and on-site editors working to capture the magic as it unfolded.

It was a great learning experience to work with such a talented group of cinematographers, directors, and editors, on a production that combined footage from several RED Epics, a Sony FS7, a Panasonic GH4, and my own Canon c100 adding to the mix. Add to that two DJI Phantom Drones, several cable cam rigs, and a slew of go-pros and you’ve got yourself an HD Hydra ready to tackle the explosion of light and energy that is Shambhala.

Enjoy and be sure to check out the Shambhala Films youtube for more awesomeness!
