WildEarth

I created this short film for SelfDesign Learning Community‘s WildEarth program this past June, 2016. WildEarth is an experiential learning program that takes high school youth to some of the wildest places in British Columbia, and teaches environmental stewardship, wilderness survival, plant identification, First Nations studies, and a broad range of hands-on learning. I accompanied them to Bella Coola and followed them through high alpine lakes, temperate rain forest, and even to a Nuxalk First Nation wedding. I hope this film inspires youth to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity and explore the wild places of BC with WildEarth. Registration for the 2016/17 year is now open.
